Sexual Harassment Seminar for Biz Owners, Non-Profits Being Hosted by JP Local First

Last updated on November 5, 2017

Sexual harassers and sexual assaulters are being exposed every day throughout the country. But it’s not just famous Hollywood moguls, actors, chefs and politicians — sexual harassment happens at regular work places, too. With that in mind JP Local First is offering a seminar on sexual harassment for small business owners and non-profits on November 14th.

Amy Carlin is a partner with Morgan, Brown & Joy. She will be leading a JP Local First Seminar on sexual harassment for small business owners and non-profits on Nov. 14, 2017.

The session will feature Amy Carlin, a partner at Morgan, Brown & Joy LLP, who will give a 90-minute talk with a Q&A session.

According to Morgan, Brown & Joy’s website, Carlin works on “cases that arise in the employment context, such as discrimination and retaliation claims, wage and other state and federal statutory actions.” She also “conducts sexual harassment and discrimination prevention training for employees of the firm’s clients, as well as trainings in best management practices and other employment topics.”

This seminar is on Tuesday, Nov. 14th, from noon-1:30 at the JP Branch Library at 30 South Street and is part of JP Local First’s Brown Bag Seminars. The seminar is open to non-members, so anyone can attend and you’re encouraged to bring a colleague and your lunch.

Please RSVP to Adam Gibbons at adam@jplocalfirst.org.
