9th Annual Walk to End Elder Isolation

FriendshipWorks is a nonprofit whose mission is to reduce social isolation, enhance the quality of life, and preserve the dignity of older adults in Greater Boston.

FriendshipWorks provide five critical programs to foster connection between older adults and caring volunteers for friendship and assistance in neighborhoods all over Boston, Brookline, Newton, Somerville, and Cambridge, including Jamaica Plain. This walk helps keep these programs accessible and free of charge to adults over the age of 60 (or 55+ for those with vision or hearing loss).
