Lebanese restaurant Café Beirut closed permanently this past weekend, wishing good luck to the next occupant of its Centre Street spot, and encouraging people to support local businesses.
Blue Nile, Chilacates, Café Beirut, FoMu, The Frogmore and Tres Gatos are just some of the participating businesses in the 23rd Annual Taste of Jamaica Plain on Nov. 15.
The welcome rain should taper off before First Thursday Artwalk begins at 5 p.m. Thursday along Centre/South. More than 40 locations will be hosting art of some kind.
