What’s Your Opinion on JP’s Latin Quarter? Hyde Square Task Force Wants to Know

Last updated on May 1, 2018

The Hyde Square Task Force is holding a public meeting on May 7th to hear your opinion about the Hyde/Jackson Square neighborhood that was previously designated as Boston’s Latin Quarter by the city.

The Second Line. Hyde Square Afro Latin Percussion band leads the way.

The Hyde Square Task Force wants to hear your input about the future of the Latin Quarter — its strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities. We’d like to know what kinds of arts and cultural events should be held, how to visually-brand the neighborhood, how to make everyone feel comfortable at Latin Quarter events and more.

There will be a focus group at Hyde Square Task Force (361 Centre St., behind the Blessed Sacrament Church) on Monday, May 7th at 6 pm. There will be refreshments and a light dinner for participants. Please RSVP to Ken Tangvik if you would like to come at ken@hydesquare.org.
