More than 150 people attended Tuesday’s production of “La Nona,” a comedy written by Argentine Roberto Cossa. Roslindale’s Escena Latina Teatro performed it in Spanish. Here’s a gallery of photos from a lovely night in Mozart Park.
The play tracks the chaotic domestic life of one family, centered around the eccentric and always-hungry grandmother. For attendees with little or no Spanish, organizers handed out a four-page, scene-by-scene synopsis.
This is the second year that Hyde Jackson Square Main Street has hosted Spanish-language theater in Mozart Park.
