Local company Cervone Deegan & Associates went from selling real estate to pies this past weekend at City Feed for a good cause. In total, $1,100 was raised for local Jamaica Plain nonprofit Community Servings.

UPDATE II: City Feed has reopened, but only for groceries, according to co-owner David Warner.

UPDATE I: David Warner, co-owner of City Feed, reports it was a burst pipe. The store is closed while they fix it.
Steve MacDonald of the Boston Fire Department said firefighters helped investigate the problem and get the pipe shut off.

The ceiling of the Centre Street City Feed is under pressure from what appears to be a major leak, possibly caused by ice. We’ll keep you posted on this developing situation.
While authorities are urging people to hunker down in their apartments and homes, we keep getting requests for what’s actually open during the blizzard. Here’s what we know so far. We’ll update this list as we learn of other openings.

Boston Police released stills from surveillance footage of the man who robbed City Feed last week. What’s more, for the first time police are linking him to three previous similar heists.
Another JP business fell victim to an armed robber on Friday, the fourth in less than two weeks. This time the gunman hit City Feed‘s Boylston Street location.
