The 22nd Taste of JP was a great success on September 14th with more than 20 restaurants serving up delicious morsels — but down came the rain and washed the silent auction out. So on Thursday the silent auction and a reception will be held.
There are more than 40 items up for auction, including gift certificates to local restaurants, memberships and admission to museums and cultural attractions and more. Click here to see the items up for auction.
The rain date silent auction is on Thursday, Oct. 5th from 5 to 8 pm at Arborview Realty (709 Centre St.). It is free to attend. Arborview Realty has donated their space so the auction is guaranteed to take place in a dry venue.
The money raised will go to help Ensuring Stability through Action in our Community (ESAC) to support ESAC’s GED Plus education programs for at-risk youth, as well as programs for free home repair for low-income seniors and foreclosure prevention counseling. ESAC is a Jamaica Plain 501(c)3 non-profit community organization.
