State officials say one lane of Forest Hills Street leading onto Shea Circle will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday.
Here are the details, from a recent email to stakeholders:
On Wednesday, April 29, the exit of Forest Hills Street into Shea Circle will be temporarily closed. This is a preparatory step for placing traffic on the northern (Arborway Yard side) temporary roadway between Shea Circle and the Arborway on-ramp at South Street during the weekend of May 1st. The temporary closure of Forest Hills Street is to ensure traffic safety.
Local southbound access to homes between Brookley Road and Lotus Street will be maintained. Southbound traffic seeking to access Shea Circle will be routed via Cemetery Road. Northbound (towards Egleston Square) traffic will still be permitted to enter Forest Hills Street from Shea Circle.
All work is subject to weather conditions.
