Three Kings Day Parade and Celebration in Hyde Square Jan. 6

Join Hyde Square Task Force to celebrate Three Kings Day next Friday, Jan. 6, with a parade and celebration!

Three-Kings-Day-Parade

Three Kings Day refers to the Nativity story of the Three Kings, also know as the Three Wise Men — Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar — who brought gifts to baby Jesus in Bethlehem.

The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Connolly Library at 433 Centre St. with a crown-making activity for children. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., there will be a parade down Centre Street featuring the Jamaica Plain Honk Band and singing. The celebration will end with a hot chocolate, treats and reading a book about Three Kings Day. Each child who attends the event will receive a free book!
