It is no secret that the winter months can be somewhat gloomy in New England. Even going for a walk outside can be treacherous with black ice lurking below seemingly every patch of snow. With this in mind, Rogerson House Assisted Living and Adult Day Health Program, thought of a way to bring the fun inside — a “Senior” Prom.
On February 11, PetPals hosted an Oscar Award Ceremony with their participating volunteer animals. These “Pawscars” were a fun and entertaining way for the residents and staff of the Rogerson House to experience cuteness right in their neighborhood. Every pet walked the red carpet and won a Pawscar award, bag of dog toys, and flowers for their human partner.
