Sunday morning Boston Public Works contractors were out in full force clearing the business district and intersections at Egleston Square. Sadly, a few motorists had their cars towed but the area was well marked. In one remarkable act of generosity, a tow truck driver had a car on his hook near Millennium Restaurant and was turning out when he backed up and dropped the car after being notified the work had been completed in that stretch.
After three snow days, Boston Public Schools are open again Friday, according to a Tweet sent by the city.

Jamaica Plain’s Tillie Jupiter brings us Juno the Cat taking a look at Juno the Storm.
While authorities are urging people to hunker down in their apartments and homes, we keep getting requests for what’s actually open during the blizzard. Here’s what we know so far. We’ll update this list as we learn of other openings.
This kind of information can change fast, so I do recommend calling before you head over. And, as Eater Boston points out in their city-wide list, there’s still a vehicle travel ban and the T isn’t running, so you’ll only want to go places you can walk to.
