The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for JP effective 7 p.m. Saturday. The Nor’easter is expected to bring another 10-14 inches of snow and produce whiteout conditions.

We’re only 72 hours away from the opening chords of the Fourth Annual Jamaica Plain Music Festival. Last week, the latest fundraiser for the celebration of local music and musicians brought in nearly $1,000.
So, apparently a group of people gathered at the Hyde Square rotary on Saturday and after they dispersed, the JP Music Festival banner and a few other banners that were hung on the fence with care, were gone.
The free, 4th annual JP Music Festival will be held at Pinebank Field on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 12–7 PM. Event on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/261461284013483/.
The festival will have two stages, with continuous music from more than 20 artists and bands. The festival features musicians, bands, group, or ensemble members who either live or work in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
