Thursdays on the Lawn—the very popular warm weather, weekly gathering at Loring Greenough House kicks off June 4—and will be a lot more eco-friendly this year thanks to JPZeroWaste. With the temperature hitting the 90s this week, DCR decided to turn the Johnson Playground Spray Deck on a little early this year. As of Tuesday, the water was spraying from the Green Street playground with kids (and adults) frolicking through to cool themselves off. Korean street food restaurant, Gangnam Spice, has applied for a common victualler all-alcoholic beverage license. The restaurant is fairly new to the JP food scene, after having opened in Jackson Square in October 2025. Washington Street Developer Wants to Decrease Affordable Units Due to Lending and Construction Costs

A developer of an approved project at 3326 Washington St. wants to decrease the amount of affordable units, citing lending requirements and high construction costs.
