The January Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter will be held Thursday, January 2, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm on the front lawn of the First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain, 633 Centre Street. In honor of the birth month of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., supporters are encouraged to bring brief (2 – 5 min.) readings from or about civil rights leaders both known and unknown. Everyone is warmly invited to join.
