April Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter

The April Vigil in Support of Black Lives Matter will be held Thursday, April 6, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm on the lawn of the First Baptist Church of Jamaica Plain, 633 Centre Street, JP. Please join us in welcoming to the Vigil Alethea Pratt and Taylor Lee of the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, who will update us on the work of the Institute and the new route for this year’s Mother’s Day Walk for Peace. Their remarks will be followed by a “call and response” reading of names of victims of racist violence and a 20-minute stand-out along Centre Street. Everyone is warmly invited to join us…newcomers are always welcome!
