All Love and Safety to Our Neighbors: a Community Event for Immigration Justice
In partnership with I’m Your Neighbor Books and Wee the People, 826 Boston is hosting a community event at the tutoring center in Egleston Square titled “All Love and Safety to Our Neighbors: a Community Event for Immigration Justice”. This event will include a bilingual read-aloud of Abuelita and Me/Abuelita y yo (featuring virtual introduction from author Leonarda Carranza), a Q&A panel with 826 Boston student authors, and a collaborative art-making event to express love for our neighbors; as well as food to honor Latine/x & Hispanic Heritage Month, a book giveaway from I’m Your Neighbor Books.
