There’s a weather system off Georgia with an 80 percent chance of turning into a named storm and then possibly into Hurricane Arthur. And that could make for a wet, stormy Fourth of July in Boston.

4:14 p.m. — Universal Hub reports traffic being at more-than-usual standstill status around Forest Hills.
1:15 p.m. — The National Weather Service has scaled back its snowfall total estimates because of warming ground temperatures. JP is still in the “4-6 inches” part of their map as of 1 p.m.
