Thanks for the article on this subject [Permit Parking Comes to Moss Hill]. I am a resident here, too. I oppose the restriction on street parking. There was no street parking problem of any sort here before the signs went up and I don’t see why restrictive and exclusive legislation was suddenly imposed.

The Sixth Annual State Of Our Neighborhood on April 7 was a sunny and happy affair. The elected officials were sage and the non profit advocates satisfied. Everyone agreed with everyone else.

I have been reading your ongoing reports about all the changes taking place in the Forest Hills area with great interest. I take a bus each work day to Forest Hills in order to continue on the subway to work in Boston. I appreciate your news reports, since the MBTA has been in no way forthcoming about the changes to the station.

Earlier this year, Mayor Marty Walsh told Jamaica Plain News and other community newspapers how he plans to keep people from being forced out of Boston by the high costs of rent and sales prices: “The key is to increase the supply of housing.”
