You should plan extra time if you’re planning on using the Orange Line starting Sept. 10.
Shuttle buses will replace Orange Line service between Back Bay and Forest Hills from September 10 to 14 to allow for work on the Ruggles Station Improvement Project.
The MBTA encourages people to use the Commuter Rail for service between Forest Hills, Ruggles, Back Bay, and South Station. The trip between Forest Hills and Back Bay on the Commuter Rail is approximately 10 minutes, says the MBTA.
