Sadly, after 18 years of living at Allandale Farm, Curtis the highland steer passed away on January 27.
He and his brother Willard, who passed away last year, were beloved by children and adults, often attracting passersby to quickly pull into the lot after seeing the long-horned black shaggy bovines.
Allandale Farm posted about Curtis’ posting on their Facebook page. They said that details for a Celebration of Life for Curtis will be forthcoming, and for now, they’re encouraging people to share any favorite memories or photos at allandalefarm.com/curtis.
