After delaying elections twice, the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council is seeking more candidates for the upcoming springtime scheduled election.
JPNC’s website states that its election was rescheduled for September “due to a lower number of candidate enrollments” and then due to another lack of new candidates, the election was postponed to this spring.
According to a JPNC email, the council has one open seat, albeit its website provides a chart from 2024 that shows three open seats. Community members interested in serving are encouraged to reach out by emailing info.jpnc@gmail.com for information to learn about the election and candidate process.
