Due to the federal government shutdown about 42 million Americans are expected to lose access to new SNAP benefits on November 1, and Allandale Farm wants to help locals who will be affected.
Allandale Farm is offering a free farmers market of fresh produce and Iggy’s Bread to those who lose SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits on three upcoming Thursdays (Nov. 6, 13, and 20) from 11 am to 1 pm at the Loring Greenough House.
