Border Stories with Playwright Octavio Solis on Nov. 18

Join the Hyde Square Task Force for a discussion on Nov. 18th with playwright and author Octavio Solis on his new play Quixote Nuevo, an exceptionally poetic adaptation of the classic novel.

Solis will also read excerpts from his book, Retablos: Stories of a Life Lived Along the Border, a memoir of his life growing up in El Paso, Texas. The book will be available for sale and signing following the discussion.

The discussion will be moderated by WBUR’s Cristella Guerra and begins at 7 pm.

The event is hosted by Huntington Theatre Company and Hyde Square Task Force, and is will be at Hyde Square Task Force (30 Sunnyside St.). Light refreshments will be served.
