No more Magic. No more Dungeons & Dragons on Wednesday nights. That will be the case after JP Comics & Games closes its doors at the end of this month.
“We are saddened to announce that JP Comics & Games will be closing its doors at the end of the month. This came up pretty quickly on us, and we are putting a fair amount of inventory on sale,” said a Facebook post on Sept. 14.
The store was known as a gathering spot for people to play role playing card games like dungeons and dragons, Magic, and more. It was common the see numerous tables set up, with people of different ages, gaming and having fun.
No reason was stated as to why the business had to close. The Facebook post did say that if you have store credit, you should spend it soon, and that they’d be trying to contact people in the upcoming week who have credit.
The post also listed that numerous items were now on sale.
“We are sorry to go, but we thank you all for many years of good gaming,” ended the Facebook post.
