Photos: Two More Weekends to Catch The Footlight Club’s ‘Cabaret’

The Footlight Club’s current show is the classic musical “Cabaret” and there are two more weekends to catch it.

“Cabaret” is set in 1931 while the Nazis rise to power. A very popular movie version of the play starred Liza Minnelli.

Alexander Boyle stars as a young American writer, Cliff Bradshaw, and his relationship with an English cabaret performer, Sally Bowles, being played by Perry Albert.

Bowles works at the seedy Kit Kat Klub, which is where the show is set.

  • Lulu — Stacy Sherman

The play is directed by Vincent S. Ratsavong, with musical direction by David Wright, and is produced by Carol Pyper and Valerie Tracy.

Other crew included Kate Sylvester as stage manager, Maddie DeFelice and Olivia Florek as assistant stage managers, Elliot Borenstein and Joanna Carber as lighting designers. Victor Gutierrez is the set designer, Timothy Hinto and Derek Schmidt are master carpenters, Stephanie Chambers is props master, Dustin Rennels is costume designer, and Drew Salad is sound designer.
