Last updated on October 28, 2018

Update: Due to the expected rainstorm the 15th Annual JP Dog Parade, Costume and Fashion Show has been moved to Sunday. Same time and same place.

Governor Charlie Barker, Anderson Pooper and Ruth Bader Ginsbark. Will they show up at this Sunday’s 15th Annual JP Dog Parade, Costume and Fashion Show?

Interested in having your costumed pup strut their stuff? Registration starts at noon at the First Baptist Church (633 Centre St.), and it costs $10 to register. The parade will leave from the church at 1 pm, make its way down Centre Street and to the Loring-Greenough House. That’s where the fashion show will take place — complete with a red carpet.

All dogs will receive goodie bags and prizes will be awarded for best costumes. There will also be food trucks — for humans.

All proceeds for the event will benefit the City of Boston’s Animal Shelter. This event is sponsored and hosted by JP Centre/South Main Streets.
