Photos: BPD Catch & Release Fishing Derby for Kids

The 2nd Annual Catch & Release Fishing Derby with the Boston Police was recently held at Jamaica Pond.

Held on June 30th, more than 300 kids enjoyed hours of fishing, games, prizes, food, cold drinks, music, shows — and a special guest appearance from Charlie Moore, The Mad Fisherman, from NESN!

The Boston Police would like to thank all of the BPD volunteers, staff, and community sponsors who made this beautiful day of family fun a reality.

The 2nd Annual Catch & Release with the Boston Police was held at Jamaica Pond on June 30, 2018.
More than 300 kids enjoyed hours of fishing, games, prizes, food, cold drinks music, shows and a special guest appearance from Charlie Moore, The Mad Fisherman, from NESN.

All fish that were caught were released back into Jamaica Pond.
