Welcoming a steady stream of customers, Juicygreens held a soft (and tasty) opening last Thursday.
“It’s been a lot of fun getting started, and we’re adding items every day,” said Mike Lowney, who co-owns the business with his wife Ammy.
He added they want to perfect everything and ensure their staff have the recipes down pat before they expand to serving the full menu, which will include arepas, quinoa bowls, toasts, acai bowls, smoothies and more.
On Sunday, customers stopped in to check out JP’s newest restaurant. Several families enjoyed sitting in the elevated dining area and outside on the patio.

The restaurant is located at 61 South St., where Harvest Co-op previously operated its wine and cheese section. It underwent a big transformation under the Lowneys, who gave it a refreshing feel, much like their Fresh D-tox smoothie (definitely try this one!).
