A three-alarm fire shot through a Lamartine Street building that houses a daycare on Tuesday morning. Boston Fire personnel were able to put out the fire and quickly reported that no one was hurt, and that four adults and five children were safely evacuated.
Boston Fire crews responded to a fire at 165 Lamartine St. around 10 am and found a 2.5 story building engulfed in flames. They were able to put the fire out.
An initial estimate of the damage was $1 million. Fire investigators were on scene determine the cause of the fire and where it started.
