Jamaica Plain resident Reginald Mobley will conduct the free, public concert “Every Voice: A Concert Celebrating Our Community, Highlighting Voices of Women, People of Color, and Youth,” presented by The Handel and Haydn Society in partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry.
The concert takes place this Sunday, November 5 at 3 pm at the First Church in Roxbury (10 Putnam St.). Tickets are free with registration by calling 617-266-3605, visiting handelandhaydn.org/every-voice, or in person at Handel+Haydn’s office (9 Harcourt St., Boston, M-F 10 am – 6 pm).
The concert, led by Reginald Mobley, will celebrate Boston’s diverse community; specifically highlighting voices of women, people of color, and youth, and will include choir performances as well as American gospel, spirituals, anthems and readings.
