JF&CS is recognizing Ken W. Shulman of Jamaica Plain, along with 17 other individuals or organizations that are extraordinary advocates for people with disabilities.
Ken W. Shulman is an attorney at Day Pitney, LLP, who assists individuals and families with estate planning and related issues for older adults and families with children with disabilities. He also frequently serves as a trustee for families with special needs.
Shulman is being honored as a 2017 CHAI Champions (Community Housing and Adult Independence). CHAI was the first program offering JF&CS Services for People with Disabilities. JF&CS offers a full continuum of services for people with disabilities and their families, including information and referral, care coordination and coaching, mental health counseling, day and employment services, supported housing, social and recreational groups,and Jewish programming.
