A 16-year-old male was shot and killed on Parker Street in Jamaica Plain shortly before midnight Tuesday night.
Boston Police responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 944 Parker St. around 11:47 p.m. on Oct. 31, according to bpdnews.com.
Upon arrival, police located the victim, who was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was brought to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
BPD Commissioner William Evans, who was on scene after the shooting, said it’s believed the shooting occurred after a fight between two groups, according to NBC Boston. Evans said there were many bullet shell casings in the area and that police are reviewing security camera footage to determine who was responsible.
