Jamaica Plain Resident to Perform in World Premiere Haitian-American Dance Performance This Weekend

Jamaica Plain resident Meghan McGrath will perform this weekend in the world premiere of LAKOU AYITI, an interdisciplinary dance production inspired by the Haitian-American immigrant experience by Jean Appolon Expressions, which knits together stories of Haitians living in Boston and includes Appolon’s own immigration story.

Performances take place this Friday, March 17, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 18, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the Plaza Theatre, Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont St. in Boston’s South End.
