Tow-Truck Worker Shot in Jamaica Plain Early Friday

A tow-truck worker was shot overnight in Jamaica Plain and the assailant is still at large, according to multiple news reports Friday morning.

The Boston Globe reports that the man was shot around 4:09 a.m. in the 900 block of Parker Street and was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, per Boston Police. WBZ says that the victim was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and is expected to survive.

A Channel 7 news reporter shared that two tow-truck workers were looking for illegally parked cars early this morning when one of them was shot, and that Boston Police were using K9 units to search underneath cars for evidence related to the shooting.
