District 6 Boston City Councilor Matt O’Malley married Kathryn Niforos on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in the Arnold Arboretum’s Leventritt Garden in front of friends and family.
No word on where and when the couple will honeymoon, but O’Malley was back working this week at City Hall and in the district. A Niforos-O’Malley political-style button was handed out to guests (surely to be a collector’s item!).
Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey officiated the ceremony.
O’Malley represents Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, parts of Roslindale and Roxbury, and the Back of the Hill. He was first elected in 2010, and reelected in 2011, 2013 and 2015. The beautiful Niforos works in Reputational Capital at ABT Associates in Cambridge. The couple will continue to reside in Jamaica Plain.
