Have you heard about a boy who was half-human and half-bat? No? Well, maybe you haven’t heard the story, so go and see an entertaining musical about the true story of such a boy.

“This show is so funny, weird, campy, sweet, and interesting. And the music is fun! I hope you come to see it!” said show producer Elizabeth Bean.

The American musical by Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming with music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe, is based on a 1992 Weekly World News story about a half-boy, half-bat, dubbed "Bat Boy", who grew up living in a cave.

The Footlight Club's production of "Bat Boy: The Musical" is directed by Beverly van Joolen, with musical directon by Jeff Kimball, choreographed by Elizabeth Rouse, fight choreography by Keith Murphy and producing by Elizabeth Bean and Olivia Sederlund.
