Boston police say that a former English High School student came to the Jamaica Plain school’s campus Wednesday carrying an unloaded handgun, according to the Boston Globe.
The 17-year-old was apprehended after he was spotted trespassing on the school’s property, officials say. The Globe reports that police searched his backpack and found a gun, which they do not believe was loaded.
The youth was charged with trespassing and unlawfully possessing a firearm.
