Il Panino Express, an offshoot of Il Panino Cafe & Grill in Jackson Square, is now open at 172 South St., bring pizzas, calzones and subs to a new slice of Jamaica Plain customers.
A call to the takeout restaurant Friday morning confirmed that Il Panino Express opened for business Thursday, and is now serving lunch and dinner. See the opening menu below.
