The Boston City Archives and Boston Landmarks Commission unveiled a real treat this week: a digitized archive of Jamaica Plain photos courtesy of a “super intern.”
Super Intern Marcin just finished digitizing our #JamaicaPlain photos from @COBLandmarks . Enjoy! https://t.co/b534tOROoq @universalhub

The archive is a wonderful resource for Boston history buffs, with images carrying location labels and dates whenever possible. Peruse at your leisure for such old-timey highlights as interior shots of 350 Jamaicaway (also known as the James Michael Curley house), Jamaica Pond (some dating back more than a century) and various private homes — you might even recognize an “unidentified house” or two.
