A public meeting for the proposed construction of 20 townhomes in West Roxbury near the Jamaica Plain border will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Area E-5 police station at 1708 Centre St. in West Roxbury.
The proposal includes 16 new townhomes at 64 Allandale St., and the creation of four units at an existing house on the property. The Jamaica Plain Gazette has details on some of the neighborhood concerns about the proposal, including its potential impact on Allandale Woods.
