Jamaica Plain’s City Councilor Matt O’Malley wants Verizon to bring FiOS to Boston.
At Wednesday’s Boston City Council meeting O’Malley proposed a hearing to urge utility regulators to ensure that Boston residents may have access to FiOS.
UniversalHub reported that O’Malley said “he has seen his constituents ‘literally chase down’ a passing Verizon truck to ask when the company was going to bring” FiOS to Boston.
