The Department of Transportation has sent out a warning that residents of several streets around the Casey Arborway project will have their water cut off on Thursday. The interruption is so Boston Water & Sewer can move a hydrant.
The project builders say residents on the following streets will be affected:
- South Street
- St. Mark Street
- Hampstead Road
- Arborway
The outage is expected to start at 10 a.m. Thursday and be over before 5 p.m.
The notice send out on Tuesday didn’t say how far down South Street or the Arborway the outage would go. Jamaica Plain News has a call in to the project’s hotline and we’ll update this post when we have more specifics.
That hotline is: 617-571-7878.
