So I’m driving the Jway on Thursday around 4 p.m. and see two young men on scooters, one with a helmet cam. The cameraman rode behind as his buddy popped a wheelie and rode down several blocks of the Jway on his rear wheel.
As a square 45-year-old, I was of course aghast. And that was before the guy with the camera took off his helmet to examine the video — while still riding along the Jway.
Doing my own unsafe driving activity, I took two photos as I came alongside. Yes, ironic, I know.
I checked YouTube to see if the riders had uploaded their video. I didn’t find that, but here’s an unrelated night ride along the Jway. The rider seems to me to be going pretty fast at times, but he does stop for lights.
