Students in the Boston Public Schools will get their fifth snow day of the last two weeks on Tuesday.
The city announced the news late Monday afternoon.
If you’re a parent or guardian who needs help with childcare while you work, Boston Centers for Youth and Families will be open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. However children must be at least 7 to be left at BCYF community centers, of which there are two in JP: Curtis Hall (20 South St.) and the Hennigan (200 Heath St.)
A Sunday-into-Monday storm that has already dumped a foot of snow on the city was continuing as of Monday afternoon.
