UPDATE: The National Weather Service has updated its forecast from a winter storm watch to a winter storm warning.

With some sidewalks still in poor shape, Jamaica Plain may be hit by another big winter storm Sunday night into Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
A winter storm watch is in effect for JP and surrounding areas for Sunday night through late Monday night. Accumulations could reach 8-12 inches, the usually conservative National Weather Service estimates. On Saturday afternoon, the Weather Service upgraded that to a winter storm warning.
