Bad weather brings out the best in people as well as the entrepreneurial. This afternoon one enterprising man set up shop at Washington and New Washington to clean windshields at the stop light. (Don’t know for sure how much money he made.)
This is a first for Forest Hills although it was big business in lower Manhatten 35-40 years ago until Mayor Ray Guiliani cracked down. (Though this summer saw a resurgence, according to the New York Post.)
