Trick or Treat at Centre/South Businesses: As it does each year, the JP Business & Professional Assoc. sponsors Trick or Treat by participating businesses all along the Centre/South corridor. Just look for the bright orange “Trick or Treat Here” sign for participating stores. 3-6 p.m. on Halloween Day, Oct. 31.
Halloween Celebration at the JP Branch Library: On Wednesday, the library branch on Sedgwick Street offers a free Halloween crafts, cupcakes and a trip through haunted woods with Rosalita’s Puppet Show. Free. 3-5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29, 12 Sedgwick St.
Fermentation Dinner and Workshop: Local potter/fermented food enthusiast Jeremy Ogusky and friends are putting on a dinner and workshop Monday night based around fermented foods. Think pickles, sauerkraut, beer, mead, etc. It’s hosted at Aurum in Hyde Square. Here are the details.
