For our Photo of the Day on Thursdays, we highlight an image of old JP, often from the online archives of the Jamaica Plain Historical Society. That’s the case with this week’s photo, which is of Centre and Burroughs streets back in the 1980s.

As many residents remember, the spot now occupied by Bukhara Indian Bistro was long the home of Today’s Bread. For more on the history of that corner, click through to the JP Historical Society’s site.
