Well, that didn’t take long. The good news is the city has removed the graffiti.
The solar bench, created by MIT brainiacs, charges phones and acts as a weather station.
A resident reported the vandalism to City Hall via the Citizens Connect app. It’s a great tool, and if you care in the least about your neighborhood and have a cell phone (that’s you, right?) you should get the app. You can report not just graffiti, but also dangerous sidewalks, missing signs, dead animals and other annoyances and dangers of urban life. It’s available free for Android and iPhone.
