ReadBoston Storymobile Comes to the Connolly: The mobile library for kids will visit the Connolly Branch Library, 433 Centre St., on Thursday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. There will be storytelling and free books for kids.
New Exhibit at UForge Gallery: The new group exhibition for July at the 767 Centre St. space draws on the theme “Identity.” There’s a reception from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and the exhibit runs through Aug. 3.
Free Brass Concert at Pinebank on Sunday: It’s Thursday, so if you’re planning your weekend, consider heading to Pinebank over in Olmsted Park (by the Pond) for a free concert by the Boston Landmarks Orchestra. 6 p.m. Sunday, 345 Jamaicaway.
